Hi all,

Does Hong Kong accept people looking for job who are 60 years of age or above?

Are there any organizations or government agencies who help them find suitable jobs?

Any advice will be appreciated.

The organisation I worked for required all expats to retire at 55 - although occasional exceptions have been made over the years for people with special skills and/or experience.

I would not like to be looking for a job in Hong Kong at any older than mid forties, frankly. Unless you are an academic, or similar specialised and highly qualified professional.

Thanks for your replies. thanks for the suggestion Beancurd. I'll try that. my mom's feeling bored doing the same thing everyday and feels like finding a job that'll suit her. She won't be bored and earn some money at the same time.
