Which is the best gym and what are the rates you pay? Choices are (in no particular order)

-Seasons

-Fitness First

-Physical

-Pure

Let me know if I've missed any...

Can anyone advise which has the best showers and change rooms - I like to be able to lock the door of my cubicle and don't like clear glass doors (even if I was a supermodel I'd still like privacy)! Womens only section in the gym preferable...any advice/comments would be appreciated. thank you

My wife really likes the Fitness First in Cosco Tower. I think she pays around 500/month.

oh no no - Pure, by mile. But the only problem is that they dont have swimming pool but i guess most of the hk gyms dont anyway? As a result of course Pure is probably the most expensive one as well..

I've had several people (including my wife) tell me that Pure turns them off. "Far too showy and full of plastic people".


But hey, different strokes. In general it is hard to define "best gym" since different people want different things.

maxeymum, why dont you go to both and check them out and decide for yourself! i find that equipment and facilities are much nicer in Pure ( i have been to both myself before i decided)! axptguy is right - different people want different things! also depends on where you are based. Pure was convenient for me locationwise

I reckon Fitness First @ The Gateway is pretty good - would recommend them.
