Hong Kong Companies in Trouble?

A journalist friend told me that the SCMP will slash its staff soon because classified ads are dwindling along with the large colour ads.


Was also told the the free English magazines like HK Mag are all in big trouble and without the deep pockets of the SCMP might not make it


Are we going to see many well know Hong Kong companies go out of business by the end of the year since the economy is predicted to get much worse?
