thought of few theme ideas such as:

tea party/ pejama party/ princesses & knights.

If you can share your ideas or experience of what to do in those kind of parties, I'll be happy to hear!

also, if you can recommend party orgenizers for this age, that would be great.

thanks.

For my youngest daughters 5th birthday we had a pink party. She had 12 little girlfriends over, they all wore pink, the decorations were pink. And the food was pink i.e strawberries, red grapes, pink cup cakes, pink cookies etc. We had some traditional games like pass the parcel, musical statues. And I set up a jewellery table (lots of cheap beads) and they made a necklace to put in their party bags, I also did a craft table with pink and red heart cards to make ( her birthdays near Valentines day), and I did some face painting.

We've just had her 7th birthday, and all the kids kept asking for musical statues, musical bumps and sleeping lions. It proved to me that kids still love the traditional parties and you don't need to fork out a fortune on an entertainer.

we had a pirate theme party for my son, who turned four last fortnight and used http://www.funhousehk.com/

They are very professional and have different programmes/ideas around which the party can revolve. They throw in face painting, puppet story telling, magic shows, games thats kids just love !

Not very expensive too - we paid HKD 2400 for 1.5 hours of fun filled entertainment that was completely worth it.

Good Luck.

We're obviously on different wavelengths because to me $2400 is a lot of money to spend on a kids party entertainer. But my kids have been to parties with people from funhouse, and they were fine.

Recently my wife organised a party for our 6yr daughter and 7 friends. They made their own bears, then put their own messages in a electronic gismo that plays when they give the bear a cuddle finally it was then dress up time. It was a fantastic 2 hrs everyone had a great time and loved having a unique toy that they took home? Would recommend it to any one looking for a new Birthday Party idea. Have a look at http://www.partybear.asia cheers Mike bored in Honkers
