Hello Forum,
I am a citizen of USA. I became involved with a resident of Hong Kong being female and she became pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I have always had difficulty communicating with the mother. Not a language barrier, but just on the way we do things, I mean everything! She has, and is continuing to make my life difficult and hold the baby against me for both money or will not allow me visitation rights, etc. In any respect, it is either her way, or now way!!...
We are not married.... I am on the Hong Kong baby's birth cirtificate as the father and the last name is mine. I supply support to date and I want to have and see my child time to time. I would like her to be in USA if it is possible, for some times or visits she she can know my loving family.
The mother has no family in hong kong.
I would like to know what provisions I have as a father (Not married to her), what my rights are as far as where the baby schools, lives, travels, visitation, custody, etc. The things a caring father would want to know.... would I have or be able to have 50% custody.
Any advice will help...
Thanks in advance...
