Has anyone tried this for weight loss. Seems to be the buzz on internet searches at the moment but i cant find an unbiased site to get accurate feedback.

Hi Baligirl,
This product may not have the same "ingredients" as another weight loss pill called Xenicol but the claims of where it works in your body and stopping the absorption of fat is the same. The only way the fat leaves your body is through your bowel movement.
I know what has happened to many people using Xenicol (although I have to admit one friend thinks it is great) - your bowel movements become sudden. If you can't get to a WC quick enough you could make a great mess of yourself.
I did not know much about it and was happy to try anything easy to lose weight. After a few days of taking it I felt the control I had over my body became less. At the time so many people were taking it - it was the latest fad. I had to stop when I heard someone's story (I gave my pills to my friend that loved it - it wasn't cheap either).
This lady was a secretary who absolutely lost all control of her bowel movement at her work desk and it was the most humiliating experience for her. Her bowel movement was so loose she couldn't even feel it coming on until it was out of her. She made an absolute mess of herself literally.
I was not going to put myself in this position. At the end of the day, we have to be honest with ourselves about how to lose weight properly and permanently.
You should try Curves in Central - just speak to them about weight loss - they are so lovely. You can just tell them you want to think about it if you don't think it is for you.
The thing that made a big impact on my eating behaviour is the fact that I wasn't eating enough (the Curves book will give you the info). I would forget to eat or not eat enough and my body would automatically go into storage mode. When I started eating healthy snacks between meals and trying to limit the carbs going into my body the weight came off so easily (of course 30 mins exercise few times a week is necessary).
There are so many treatments and pills and crash diets out there - lord knows I have tried them.
After doing Curves for a while also I tried the Tony Ferguson Diet from Australia (kept doing Curves). Do a google on the Tony Ferguson diet - check out the recipes - you don't have to do the shake/soup replacement thing but you get ideas on how to feed yourself good food that is good for you when you want to shed fat. In the end you will feel really good about yourself. It will not be long before you see results.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do. I really hope you are successful.
