I have just bought my wife a new digital SLR camera (Nikon D90) and want to send her on a course so she can get the most out of it.


Can anyone recommend a good course or trainer, either for DSLR or specifically digital Nikon SLR?

I don't know any actual courses, but I have learned a lot from Internet tutorials. These are of course not a replacement for a real photography course, but they can give you an understanding of the basic concepts. Here is one example:

i also got a Nikon D90 recently - fantastic results and some great features. I was a point & shoot camera user and learnt about this dSLR model through a very useful site -

I currently offer classes in portrait photography and nude photography, in small groups of no more than 10 persons per class in my studio in Chai Wan
