rugby for 3/4 year old girl

Hi all,


I've got a very active daughter, and was wondering whether mini rugby is something for her? Does anyone else have their children that young playing rugby? What is your experience...Where are the locations...

There are about 20 different mini rugby clubs in HK in various locations.

At Valley Fort, where my son goes, the youngest age group is U5 which this year is for kids who were born in 2004. I imagine it's much the same at the other clubs (although the youngest age group who compete in the inter-club tournaments are U6 so maybe not all clubs have a U5 group).

My son was 8 when he started so I can't really comment from experience about the younger age groups but judging from what I see at training on Sunday mornings most littlies seem to love it!

At DEA Tigers mini rugby, the youngest group is U7j's, mostly made up of 5 and 6 year old. they may take a 4 year old, but would not take a 3 year old, I think there used to be some insurance issues with under 6's. But maybe that has changed now.
