I am getting Divorce. My wife lives in California, I live in Hong Kong. Need to get information on how to serve papers

Will your lawyer not be able to tell you this? i assume you have one or will have to have one if you are serving papers.

My wife hasn't posted the question, maybe it is someone else with the same question.
I haven't asked my Lawyer yet (who is in California). I was hoping to find options before I talked to my lawyer since his hourly rate is very high.

Though it is always best to get comprehensive advice note that a petition may be served out of Hong Kong without leave (i.e. special permission) from the Court. Service may be effected either by personal service (but not by the Petitioner himself), by post or by substituted service with leave (i.e. permission) of the Court e.g. advertisement in California, if you do not know her address.
