Seems like Poker is getting bigger in HK, where do people here play, just interested to know! I have been to a couple places but nothing seems to compare to the poker house down on hollywood rd....

actually i found out its not, technically. there is a loop hole, where if a club doesnt take a rake and the money is only handled and gambled between the players, it is perfectly legal. thats what i heard down at the hong kong poker house, they run cash games there every night.

Very unlikley that its legal. Gambling is still gambling. You might get this into a "grey area" but its not legal.
When you have been in Hong Kong for a while you see how much is "grey" in this place...

its a mission, i do go to macau but not very often. other than cash games, i found a poker league here on the island called the hong kong poker league (HKPL). There was a big tournament on at Prive last tuesday, first place gets a buy in to the Vegas WSOP event. All the top 10 players got prizes, there is no cash prize, but i found it a lot of fun.
