How long do you swaddle?

My daughter hates it when we swaddle her. Can you share your experience as to how long you swaddle your baby for? Thanks.

If she hates it, you can stop now. It's meant to be comforting. If it doesn't comfort, there's no point.


Our daughters were not fans either after they had turned a few days, so we just went straight to a sleep sac.

Yes! It's ok to stop at 0 days of age. There is no need to swaddle at all.

i have just stopped swaddling mine and she is 6.5 months!! She alswats hated sleeping unswaddled then all of a sudden wanted out and now sleeps on her side as if she has alsways done so

Ya, my friend took her son back from hospital to the house and let 'loose' everything except a diaper on June, with no air conditional on but place the cot near to the window for fresh air. When i visited them, the baby was sleepy sweetly!
