i have recently had some unforseen trouble at work (causing a substantial amount of damage and loss of earnings), which is my landlords responsibilty, but as always, they are being less than helpful to put it kindly.
does anyone know if the "community advise bureau" is the same thing as the "citizens advise bureau"??? i have looked online and can only find the cab website, which doesnt seem to be exactly what i was looking for.
any help, advise, websites, contact numbers would be much appreciated.
thanks

A duty lawyer working with the Community Advice Bureau (as it's known here) should be able to provide basic legal advice. At the very least, the CAB will give you some contact details/website links for the Small Claims system or whatever channel is appropriate. Their phone number is 2815 5444.
By the way, Directory Enquiries (1081) would have been able to put you in touch with them.
