I have a 3-month-old boy and want to buy a baby sling. Is there anyone know where I can buy one in HK? I heard that there're 2 types, with ring and without ring. Please advise which one I should choose.

The quality is good and the price is reasonable. Cheaper than those at department stores.
I like the sling with ring because it's adjustable so my husband can use it too. If your baby is newborn, you should buy without ring one as it's more suitable for newborn baby.

Many types of slings -- your comfort is probably the biggest factor here. Since your kid is already 3 months, you may also want to check out baby carriers -- we found that once ours was past the newborn phase, she didn't really fit too well in the sling.

I just ordered a baby sling with ring. My maid said it's easy to use baby sling and baby can sleep well in the sling. Hope it's good. I will try first.

I use the ergo baby carrier, which isn't really a sling but is so much more comfortable! I used to use a ring sling but once my bub got a bit bigger it just made my neck sore. You can get an ergo quite cheaply from australia through babes in arms, and they usually have special deals and cheap postage. I just love my ergo, it's so comfy and so good for baby, and will last such a long time! You can use it from newborn right up to a big toddler, which I couldn't do with any of the other slings I tried :)

I saw the slings with ring at Citysuper (the one at IFC), and I cannot remember the price now, but I remember it was not very expensive.

I have a mayawrap and it's very easy to use. My son loved to be in it. He slept in it and I just used the tail of the sling to cover him whenever I breastfeed in it. It could be used up to 1.5 years old by carrying him sideways on your hip (if it doesn't hurt your back of course!) And if you don't use it you can just fold it up in your bag. Pretty convenient.
