Frozen Korean Dumplings

Recently I was at a supermarket in Shanghai and saw that they sold frozen Korean dumplings, I was interested in purchasing them but was wondering about the ingredients?

Since the words were all in Korean, I wanted to know if they use MSG- Monosodium glutamate for flavoring or Preservatives? As I am a bit allergic to both.

I tried to look for the translation, but could not find MSG translated in Korean. I did however find translation for preservatives= 방부제? Not sure if this is correct?

It is very tough to find frozen dumplings without MSG in Shanghai.

If you bought the frozen dumplings, without doubt,it must use monosodium glutamate to keep its flavor for a period of time.

Hope it can be useful. You could buy fresh hand-made dumplings next time~
