toddler using a chinese squat toilet?

Hi, my soon to be 3 year old is potty trained. how do you cope with chinese squat toilets for a toddler? do you make sure you go to a western one only? time it right? teach them to use? thanks for any info and advice.

i'd say teach them how to squat..... is your toddler a girl or a boy? and do you have one at home or are you asking ageneral question?

toddler is a girl. we don't have one at home but i mean when we are out and about. will be living in China. thanks.

Show your girl how to do it without making a big issue of it. It hink parent's attituteds towards things go a long way in making a child comfortable/uncomfortable with things.

squatting while pooping is actually supposed to stimulate the bowels ...
