My niece has asked for a sewing kit for her birthday! The kind containing sewing needles, coloured threads etc. I also need to be able to post it by airmail! Any ideas of where I might find one in HK?

I don't know how old your niece is but basic sewing kits are available from a lot of the markets here.


If you are looking for sewing kits suitable for young children then toys'r'us might have them in stock.

Thanks so much for your advice Riceman! My niece is actually in her late teens and wants a 'serious' one. I will have a wander through the markets and see what I can find. I recall the shop, China Products used to do products like this but I cant even seem to find any of these stores easily nowadays. Thanks again.
