Much appreciated if you gals out there can share your experiences on this.
It would be great if you can provide contact info, price range and your personal experiences as I really need a good one in town to get prepared for a ball coming up.
Thank you so much.

Hi all,
It's me again. From some previous postings couple years back, I noticed 2 places - Metacouture + Margaret Court were mentioned. Juts wondering if anyone have tried them recently and willing to share their experiences? Also, any recommendations for suits and also alteration places where they're comfortable dealing with english speakers?
Thank you so much.

Hallo,
I need a similar advice. I have a jacket I like and simply need a tailor to do a copy, but with reasonable prices. I am sick of going to shenzhen (too time consuming) but I am as well not willing to pay thousands for a copy. I have a rather expensive material (thai silk). Can someone please recommend a tailor capable to do a copy, do not need lightning speed, since I live here. Thnaks,

Hiya,
I have my own personal tailor, who sews all my own original designs, she can re-create your jacket for just the tailoring fee. When do you need this jacket?
Please email me at raagachic@gmail.com

Hi, I usually visit Mayeelok (Suite 1802, Queen's Place, 74 Queen's Road Central) for party and evening dresses. Both tailor made and off the rack are available. Prices ranged from around $3,000. Nice fabrics and designs. You can check out their web.

Hi mamilai, I've been Mayeelok too! I like their little cosy show room and the friendly atmosphere. Last time I tailor made a cocktail dress. The seamstress (I remember she should be Mayee...) was very nice and attentive to my needs. I also love their ready-to-wear and the handmade accessories. Most importantly, prices are very reasonable!

Just in case you are still looking for a tailor or need alterations done, I find Mr and Mrs Wong to be friendly and attentive, although they speak little English.
They used to have their store on Caine Road next to Ladder Street but have moved up to Bonham Road and are now opposite the University of Hong Kong.
Their contact details are:
CKY Tailors
G/F Lim Kai Bit Yip
65A Bonham Rd
Hong Kong
Tel: Mrs Wong 9045 1255
Hours: 9:30am - 9pm (Sundays off)
