We would like to lighten some of our dark stained, wooden furniture; can anyone recommend any of the following?
1) A reputable workshop to do it for us (we live in Tseung Kwan O)
2) A suitable stain/varnish remover (DIY)
3) Any other way to overcome the accumulation of too many pieces of dark furniture apart from selling and getting them remade in a lighter shade

Just finished taking our wooden wrought iron outdoor furniture, lounge, table, benches, chairs down to the original wood color taking off the stain and finish by sanding and then appling a couple of coats of Sadolin. Tough work but it came out quite nice.
