Good hair colourist?

I know this question is asked a lot, I'm asking again because I just can't find a hair colourist I'm happy with in HK. (2 years on!)

I'm happy with the cuts I've got in local places, but as for colour. ..Been to both Western and Chinese hairdressers and never really that impressed with the results.

I have short bobbed hair, it's very dark at the moment,I've coloured it myself cos dunno who to go to!

I like the colur but would love some highlights to brighten it up.

Some Western hairdressers here are sooo pricey, and in my experience not the kind of cuts or colours I would have ever have paid that kind of money for back home.

So can anynone reccomend anyone reasonably priced and good?! Western or Chinese,I don't mind as long as they listen to me and don't just assume because I'm really pale that I simply must have a tonne of blonde highlights!

I'm not sure if they are still there after the renovation in Yata (Shatin), but on the ground floor there was a shop called Uranus Hair Salon...

Okay, but a bit of the point! Anyone else want to add anything that isn't about funny shop signs in HK?

Try Colour Box, ask for Ian (owner). He is from Ireland. Colour specialist. Reasonable prices compared to some expat places.

I think it's called the Colour Bar, not the Colour Box.
