Hi
A totally mundane question, any tips for cleaning the nylon/polyester straps on a Graco highchair? The rest of the chair is easy to keep clean, but the straps are driving me mad. A combination of watermelon, carrot and berries have stained the pale grey straps beyond recognition.
If it had been used for an extended period, I wouldn't mind as much, but it's only been in use for 5 weeks.

make a paste with baking soda and water and use a brush, then rinse with clear water.

Put it in the shower with you and scrub with a soft brush and washing powder. Can also clean all those nooks and crannies at the same time. Although it does take a while to dry (use a hairdryer to speed it up). I'd only do this occasionally and after dinner so it at least had the night to dry, with a dehumidifier next to it.

If the straps can come off, soak them in napisan for a day or two.
