HELP! - icable and Buffalo wireless router (Airstation)

Need your help fairly desperately.


I've just recently moved into a new apartment and had icable broadband hooked up this afternoon. I've now spent the entire afternoon and the better part of the evening trying to get my wireless router working!


The internet works fine when i use a direct connection from the cable modem to my laptop. When i try and connect via the router i'm getting nothing.


I tried the icable helpdesk and all they could tell me is to turn on dynamic DNS as my icable account has no username or password. Tried turning on dynamic DNS but it's still asking me for a username and password. I've reset the router a couple times and each time this seems to be the sticking point, i keep getting asked to enter a username and password for the account. I've got no idea!


I've used this same laptop and wireless router at my old apartment without a problem but then that apartment had a generic username and password (presumably for the whole building).


Is it a case that the building as a whole has a username and password and I need to talk to building management to get these details?


This is driving me mad. Any help would be really appreciated.
