Has anyone received an invitation to a party on 15 May to help the Maxwell family? I heard about it via my kids' school, but now I can't find the email. It's a sad story but it sounds like it will be a GREAT party and I want to go...

I have received an invitation to this - basically it is a benefit night for the Maxwell family. The ex-pat family are expecting their third child and the father has died suddenly.
The benefit will be held on Friday, May 15th and will be held at the Sky Garden. There will be various prizes - including a diamond which will be found in someones champagne flute.
If you are interested in attending, send an email to maxwellfamilybenefit@gmail.com and you will receive info on ticket purchasing etc.
The benefit is called ‘Glamour in the Sky Garden’.
If you can’t make the party but you want to help the Maxwell family, you can also buy ‘virtual’ party ticket.
Ed - is there any other way we can get this event out there? The poor family need help. Thank you.

This is fantastic. I am one of the organisers of the party and I got an email from Ed a few hours back offering us a free ad. Thank you everyone who's helping.
While the party is to help a family who really needs it, the main point is that it's a party! You don't have to know the family... you just need to be prepared to have a great time and maybe even win an amazing prize. We have so many things for the auction and lucky draw... a $12,000 photography package, a year's ticket to Punchline comedy club, 2 Virgin Atlantic tix to Sydney or London... the list is loooooooooong.

Yes - that's absolutely true. Again, email maxwellfamilybenefit@gmail.com for details on how to make a contribution.
But - if you can - make it along to the party as a priority. We are getting more prizes all the time but I suspect there must be about a one in eight chance of winning something in the lucky draw, plus there are great auction and silent auction items. There will be entertainment, a funky DJ and still loads of time for mingling and chatting (so bring all your friends too!).

No... this one is for the grown-ups. It's a great night out, dress up and get a babysitter! Tickets are $400 each which includes welcome drink, canapes and entry, plus a generous goody bag when you leave. There will also be a short auction and a lucky draw to determine who gets all those fabbo prizes.
