I've just moved to a new flat which has a few cupboards only in the kitchen. There's a hanging rail so looks like the previous tenants used temporary shelving and hung a (shower?) curtain over it. I'd like to hear about experiences with that cheap and cheerful way of handling kitchen stocks. In dirty grungy hong kong I can imagine my food supplies becoming coated in dirt or worse still mould.

Good ideas,thanks. If I had a decent size fridge I would put everything into it but .... this is HK! I can only fit my milk, juice and cheese.
