I have just dug out my old baby clothes for the arrival of no.2 and to my dismay have found that a lot of my gorgeous baby gros have yellowed/ browned possibly due to the humidity. I did have them in storage with hungry hippos.
How can I whiten them without endangering my newborns skin?

I used the oxi powder mixed into a paste and leave it on damp item to soak for a few mins then soak in water for an hour then launder. The only thing you need to be aware of is that I did have some colour run on some items when using this method. Also found that sard soap (you buy it in a soap bar in the laundry isle of some supermarkets) also worked. Another one is a squeeze of lemon juice then put the item out in the sun - assuming it is a white item, then launder as normal. I had the same thing with mine and got all stains out but with a bit of elbow grease and a few batches of stain treatment for some items.
