Am leaving for Perth for a week end of this month and bringing our 16-month old daughter. Am told that we are now allow to bring in any diary products including milk powder.
Are we able to purchase Mead Johnson's Enfagrow infant formula in any supermarkets in Perth?
Much appreciate your help on this.

hi there!
we went to perth in dec 08 with our 4 mth old then.. you can certainly bring formula milk for your baby. We declared it and was let through by custom officers. So no problem there.
I am not sure of Enfagrow availability there though. My baby takes Japanese milk and that is hard to come by in perth. MAybe some other Aussie moms out there can help to clarify if there is Enfagrow.
if not - then just bring enough supply for that trip.. and if not .. perhaps you can substitute with something else just for that week?
have an excellent trip! perth is wonderful!

I have not seen Enfagrow in Australia. Perhaps contact the company and ask a) if they have stocks in Australia or b) what is their recommendation as the closest subsitute.
Failing that, you can bring your own, but depending on how long you go for, it might be a pain stocking a heap of tins!
My baby is on goat milk formula, Karihome over here in Hong Kong and we just bought Karicare brand when we were in Australia over Christmas. My baby didn't notice the difference as all. As long as the ingredients are close, it should be fine.

Thanks. Planning to bring a new can and hopefully they'll let me in.
