Hi, I am new to HK and need to purchase appliances for my appt.
I have found good deals with this brand name Candy. What would your thoughts and feedback (if any) on this particular brand? I did some research and found that it is at the lower end of the UK market but in HK, sales seem to push its goodness and realiability.
Any thoughts and suggestions will be most welcomed.

I have a washer only and to be frank, I don't recommend it.
I found that I was having a lot of washing powder residue (and no, I wasn't putting a lot in per wash) leaving marks on clothes so now I have to give it another rinse cycle before adding conditioner.
Also, within a year, it had stopped spinning and i had to call the repair company. Mind you, it's kept going for the past 2 years with no further problems.
I also have a Zanussi which has been going for 10 years with no problems, despite being moved up and down apartments.
