Skylight - The Sarah Roe School is run by the ESF (not KGV) and caters for children with moderate to severe learning and/or physical disabilities. By the sound of it Wing On's son's problems would be best catered for in a mainstream setting with support.
Wing On - ESF schools do accept students with ADD but many of the schools are very full. I would suggest you contact the ESF primary schools in your area to see if they have a place in P6 for your son. All the school contact details can be found on the ESF website: www.esf.edu.hk

Bradbury and Clearwater bay also have learning support teachers.JCSRS (Sarah Roe) does normally only take moderate to severe learning difficulties, a very nice school though (my son is just about to leave there after 12 years). You could also look at The Norwegian International school in Tai Po. Although not a special needs school, it has very small class sizes (I think around 8). and is very good at catering for special learning/and social problems.

You could also try JIS (Japenese International School) on Tai Po Rd (near Tai Po Kau reserve). They have an English section as part of the school with about 130 kids. They have small class sizes so may cater well for your son. If you google JISHK you will see their website.

"HLYIS has a good reputation for special needs and I think that they have places too. It's a nice school and although it is only a nursery and primary school I understand that they are expanding with a new secondary school on the border."
in fact, Kingston IS, Japanese IS and HLYIS are forming a joint secondary IS, called International College of Hong Kong (ICHK), near Sha Tau Kok I believe, opening this August
