eyelash extension: novalash glue

anyone knows a salon who uses 'NOVALASH' glue for eyelash extension? That's the only FDA proved glue for eyelash extension.

I have been doing eyelash extension in Beauty Par Zai from last two years. I don't know which glue they use but they do a fantastic job and it last long.

I do not know of a place that uses Novalash glue here in HK. Where did you get your lashes done by Novalash (which country)? Novalash is not approved by the FDA I know becuase I work in the eyelash exten business with Xtreme Lashes. I know a girl who is trained by the US company and using a US glue for extensions, if you want I can give her contact to you. You may contact her for more information!

I have done about 6-7times in Elmis spa, costs about 900$ without membership, (membership means you pay 10000 upfront and use it along the year, then u get some discount), lashes looks ok, i always asks for natural look, but the shortest she has is 9mm, (i used to have 7mm,9mm and 11mm), so a bit less ideal than i used to have. not sure the glue used, but it starts to fall off in week one, but not many, in week two there is gaps appearing, and week3 i'd mostly be washing/pulling those off already, as it also gets ichy.

the experinces in Amsterdam was better, more natural lashes, and lasted 4 weeks before gaps appeared, but that beutician spent 1.5hours at least to apply the lashes, and she uses 40lashes for one eye, per lash is thin and soft, once attachd, stays long, whereas in hong kong, the lashes are thicker, so they only do around 20 per eye, then once a few falls off, you notice the gaps,

so far due to the membership constriants, i have no idea yet if anywhere does it better, if someone knows, please do let me know.

also i am a bit worried about our natural lashes, anyone with longer experiences of eyelash extention could share some thoughts? i've been doing this on sort of monthly or 6 weekly basis over past year, and somehow now i do feel my upper lashes has become shorter, and every now and then i'd pull off one that went away with my origional eyelash....so i also feel my lash becomes thinner...is this a serious worry or not?

I had experience with both Xtreme and Novalash,they are not related to the FDA thing, but the difference between them are Novalash's glue are made by themselves, they have a FDA standard lab in Houston and there is where they produced their glue with their own formula. Right now, their glue are already up to medical grade. This is why their glue are so expensive! My first experience with lash extensions are with Xtreme, but I found my natural lashes getting lesser and the extensions can't stay for 4 weeks, I always had to go back for a refill on the 3rd week. (the extensions are not all fallen off, but they look ugly by the end of the second week already). Than, I went to try with another spa using the Novalash. I am quit happy with the result because I don't need to go back for a refill every 3 weeks, (I do my refill every 5 weeks) and they don't look ugly even in the 4th week. Another reason why I am so happy with the Novalash is because it made my own lashes grow more!!! Everytime I go for a refill, I found my extensions getting more and more volume, my stylish told me that is because I got more baby lashes growing out!! Isn't that amazing!!! I have been doing my extensions with the Novalash for about 3.5 years but than I moved to HK. I would love to know if there is a place in HK that is also using their glue!!!
