Pile Driving on Seymour Road

ORIGINAL POST

Does anyone know if and when the pile driving will resume on Seymour Road behind Robinson Place and beside Goldwin Heights? I thought it was over, however, it looks like it may begin again.

I really feel that their are no rights for renters/owners regarding the noise pollution in mid-levels.

Thanks!

I honestly wouldn't move anywhere in this area. The noise is very loud everyday...even on Sat. starting at 8 a.m. If you want to stay in mid-levels maybe try Conduit Road...or if you can go further, somewhere around Bowen or Old Peak Road. I think even the Soho area would be a better option.

i'm living in Blessings Garden PH.II now (but it's too small for me)... maybe cos i'm on higher floor, i hear nothing at all. Maybe you shud consider conduit rd.

Construction noise is a fact of life in HK I'm afraid. Every day but Sunday.

We live on the top of Robinson Place and didn't hear anything while hte pile driving was going on but we did feel vibrations from time to time.

All the pile drivers have left the site on Seymour Road right behind Robinson Place so I doubt any more pile driving will go on. I notice a small crane and a couple of small earth movers - perhaps they are going to start to build?

Piliing shouldn't take long, at most 6 months or so? Given the weather is good I guess ....
