Doing MBA in Hong Kong?

ORIGINAL POST

I have found myself with time on my hands (sadly, like quite a few of us) and am thinking of doing MBA. No idea where to go for it though and how much it is (i suspect quite a bit). Any tips much appreciated.

if you really focus on hk only you have two basic options:

- full time mba

- part time mba

given you have time on hand, i guess it's a fulltime mba.

there might be more but i would only consider hkust, cuhk and hku as a choice for fulltime mba.

some other schools like agsm, poly-u, etc. offer part-time mba's too.

when i did mine (starting 2004), it was 200k fee. i know hkust is around 400k now and hku/cuhk must be not that far behind (300k?).

if you consider outside of hk, i guess ceibs in shanghai, insead campus in singapore might be options too.

i let you find out the quality yourself of each course as opinions tend to vary. rankings can be found from financial times, economist, business week, etc. though they also vary by quality.

hi ldsllvn

my husband did the hkust/kellogg mba back in 1999. we had to change our wedding date in order to fit the school's schedule.

if you want more details, let me know or you can give me a call and he can talk to you about the pros and cons.

hkust meets two weekends a month, and there was a session in chicago about halfway through if i remember correctly.

let me know if you want to chat with charles more.

ps - i am looking for a used white bunkbed for my girls. if you know anyone who is leaving and selling such a thing, can you let me know??

abitnaive you must be talking about the emba not the mba as hkust does not have a joint mba program with kellogg. only their emba program is joint with kellogg
