My husband is british and needs a tourist visa to Shenzhen area. Can anyone guide me to where I can ask for application procedure etc? I tried Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Wanchai but its line is always engaged. Thank you.

you can do it at the border but it is very expensive - $450 for british passport and $160 got pretty much everyone else. No procedure as such - just turn up with cash in RMB and a passport - fill in form there and then
