we want to build a wall (on our land, around our home).
I would like to know where I can any information on the government requirements for such an undertaking any documents we need to obtain and any restrictions that we should be aware of.
I have looked though ordinances from the Lands Department and Buildings department, but cant find anything that gives me an idea of what is required.

Yes the Buildings Department is in charge of this matter, seemingly there is a height restriction of 1.5M, but it also needs to be certain that it is on deeded land and private property which may need to have surveyed, otherwise it could come down from any complaint on your tab.

Thanks for that information. I was under the impression that there is a height restriction, but I cant find anything about it and also there are many walls along the road I live on that are way above that height, so how do they do it?
