Hi,

I have bought this stroller yesterday for my 3 months old boy because I was looking for something light and easy to fold.. and it is sold for 3 months up, but now i'm not sure that it is really a good idea to put my baby in it.....

I would like to hear form other parents when they did start to use this stroller.

tks !

In my opinion, the Triumph is more a 6 months and up stroller, for when baby can sit up properly. The Techno XT is more of a "from birth" stroller, but I still wouldn't use it for long periods until 6 months.

I would buy some sort of pillow to support the neck/head. You can find such at Bumps to Babes.

For longer strolls (30 minutes plus), babies under 6 months should really be flat and horizontal (and no car seats). As far as I am aware, no Maclaren stroller offers this.

we used the Techno XT birth with an infant insert. We just bought the Quest Sport as our umbrella stroller. My son is now 17 months old. I prefer it over the Triumph as it has more of a reclining back and more cushion.

I seem to remember the maclaren quest reclined a tad more than the triumph as well a being a tad more expensive and heavier, but I also dont think the triumph is suitable for a very young baby under six months, some of the Asian brands (like Capella) are lightweight too but of course aren't the same quality as maclaren, but they do lie right back and are small and light. but can't beat the maclaren for quality and steering if u ask me.
