hey guys,
my family is taking a trip to hk. we are currently in the states. there are several of us and we plan on staying for at least 2 weeks.
im thinking of getting a service apt instead of a hotel, since we are staying for more than a few nights.
i have some questions about service apts in general. first of all, does it make sense to use serviced apts for this purpose? of course im looking for value right now.
second, how do i know if a particular serviced apt is legitimate?
any advice, suggestions, or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Hi tekkamaki,
most of the service apartments in HK, they do not have hotel licence.
that is they cannot lease out an apartment for a period less than 28 days.
I know this one is nice, www.theputman.com, they hold valid hotel licence and offer good rate for short stay. you can check that out.
cheers

Hi tekkamaki,
My friends told me about another service apt, a smaller one, but located in great location in Causeway Bay, www.empirestudio.biz, there is a lot of good word of mouth about them...
