Hi! I was born in HK but immigrated to the US during my teens. I have since become an US citizen.
Recently, my company has approached me to see if I will be interested in moving back to HK (as an expat or actual relocation - I haven't decided yet) for my job. It will be an internal transfer (in the eyes of my company). My role will not change. It's merely a change in location to do the same job.
My question is... 1) do I even need to apply for a work visa in this case since I was born in HK... does that not make me a HK citizen still? 2) If I do need a visa, what does my company/HK government need from me to get the process going? Visa application? Credentials? Others?
Any advice from anyone will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
