I visited a few yrs ago and the net connection either did not work at all or was so slow I was unable to download even the smallest email file.


During the recent unrest large video files were being emailed out of the country.


Does anyone know how they were doing that?

I heard part of a radio interview a couple of days ago with one of the local 'citizen journalists' who report on the unrest in Burma. He was talking about a network of people smuggling material out of the country. I assume that they had material on USB drives or similar and were getting it out to Thailand. I only heard bits of the program so I don't know any more details.
