Need aggressive lawyer

Someone near and dear to me has been stuck with a sizable bad debt by an ex.


The circumstances, as they have been related to me, seem complex but the gist of what they have been told by their lawyer is that, because of various mitigating factors, they may be able to negotiate to pay only a fraction of the amount being sought by the creditor.


My friend thinks, however, that their lawyer may not be aggressive enough to fight for the best outcome for them and, so, they would like to consult with another lawyer who might offer a more vigorous plan of action (in hopes of minimizing the amount that they will end up paying to settle their ex's debt) and then weigh the advice and decide how to proceed.


Can anyone recommend an aggressive lawyer, preferably someone that has assisted them personally? Posts in this thread or PM's are both welcomed.
