Where to buy Malarone malaria tablets

Hi,


We are going to Malaysia on holiday (jungle treks etc) and have taken Malarone before.


Where can I buy them in Macau (if not, HK) or online?

You can buy them from certain Watson's (only the larger ones may have enough pills stocked) but you will need a prescription. Anti-malarial drugs are not typically sold over the counter (and thereby usually not over the internet).


If you really don't want to deal with a doctor's prescription, you can try the mom& pop pharmacies but I would trust the expiration date shown on those drugs there as those type of stores are unlikely to move antimalarials quickly through their inventory and probably don't have very good QA measures.

Buying aged or fake Malerone is as good as not taking any medicine whatsoever.


Better you invest a little time in visiting a doctor, getting a prescription and good, fresh medicine.
