Fun activities for a 2 year old

2 year olds are actually quite easy to entertain


they love kicking and throwing and later also catching balls.

mine has a junior badminton set that he likes

going to the beach

going to the pool

sand table at home on the balcony or a sandpit if you have outdoor space

bicycle

building blocks

making tents or enclosures from cushions

jumping: on the gym ball, on the sofa, from bed ot floor, of the last stair


cars, trucks, trains, planes and any kind of automobile (toy ones i mean)

playing hide and seek

playdoh

cooking (making sourdough starter, cakes, rolling out bread dough)

books

play kitchen


mine is a boy 2yrs and 4 months and he loves all the above. he's very active and will go from one activity to the other by himself. he's rarely bored.


And they like spending time with parents, just rolling with them on the floor. being showered fed or generally attended to.
