My son will be going to GSIS this August. I was wondering if anyone lives in Sai Kung/Clearwater Bay area who drives to GSIS each morning?
How long does it take? How bad is the traffic?
My son will be in year 1.
How about the School bus? Is it good and does it have seat belts? Is there a person who watches the children on board?

I used to do that journey, traffic in the morning is fine at that time so it didn't take that long, about 25-30 mins to drive. Somebody else I know got the school bus from Hebe Haven and was picked up about 6am.
Just to say that after having done the travelling to the Island for school for over 2 years I wouldn't recommend it. We found with GSIS it wasn't just the school time travellingm it was playdates (always on the Island, their friends would never come over this side), but after school shows, events, meetins etc. Just be warned there will be a lot of driving involved.
