Will be leaving HK in mid-August and as I'm not the most practical thinker was wondering if people could share ideas/thoughts on what I need to have sorted before leaving.
At present all I have is to terminate all my bills and to ship my clothes back to UK.
Anything else??

Can you redirect mail to an overseas address?
How much does that cost? Are you charged per letter?
I have changed alot of Bank and Credit Card Statements to be e-statements so I can check them on the net irrespective of where I live.
I plan to keep 1 or 2 HK Bank A/C and Credit Cards just in case.

You need 5 days prior for mail redirection. Cost varies but HK post office offers 3 months or 15 months. $100HKD for 3, $400 for 15 months. More if office mail is required.

I think you are referring to forwarding to a HK address. What about an address outside of HK?
