Where can I buy the sausage meat/filling to make sausage rolls?


I am based in Hong Kong, local butchers wont have a clue what I am on about.

Hi bbbccc

No problem,to make your filling buy from your butcher either beef or pork mince and either chop or better still pulse in a blender until the texture is that of Sausagemeat,season with salt and pepper and then add finely chopped Sage leaves to the meat,fresh is best but if not dried sage will do,to this mix add either breadcrumbs or a fine rusk on a ratio of about 70 to 80% meat to 20 to 30% breadcrumbs.This will make a super tasting sausage roll.

P.S. this also makes a very tasty addition to a breakfast when fried in a pan as a small cake instead of bacon (or as well as !!)
