car seat suitable for Cathay Pacific flights

Have you recently used your car seat on a cathay pacific flight?. I am needing a car seat for my toddler and new baby, I would like to use it for my toddler who is turning 2 soon on the flights.

Depends on what plane you are flying on. On the entire new fit out of Cathay (which I think, though could be wrong) is mostly used on long haul flights, you cannot use ANY car seats - they don't fit. Major problem for us, and I'm sure many others as well, and it will mean us changing carriers for the first time in years next time we go back to the UK. On the older fit outs, you need to comply with the airline's requirements - our forward facing Britax has been great. Here's the link of requirements (and which planes don't take car seats at all):
