Noticed most of the postings on this subject are over 1 year old. Can anyone suggest a good gynecologist they are presently using who speaks English and is gentle. Many Thanks!

My wife & I use Amelia Wong, she's based in Central. Quite good although a bit strict ! some feedback on her :

Cara, all doctors in HK may feel that they speak English, but everyone knows that their level of speaking English can vary greatly. Some Chinese doctors may feel more comfortable in communicating in Cantonese rather than English. I inferred from usuawminhk that she wanted a recommendation from someone who spoke English well.

Thanks so much for all your replies. They are really appreciated. I must comment and agree with Shoe Girl on the English speaking issue. In my case I had a technical procedure done in the USA so I truly do need a doctor who not ony speaks but well understands the English language so they can take care of me properly.
