Air Con servicing/cleaning-why so expensive!??

I have been given two quotes by local tradesmen for the servicing and cleaning of our air con units - one for $750 per unit and the other for $950 per unit!? Why is it so expensive?! Am I being ripped off? Does anyone know of a reputable air con engineer in the Sai Kung / CWB area?

We had ours cleaned and this was about the same price as your quote. I think the price is very fair as they had to build a small scaffold outside in which to stand and clean the outside unit and we had a 2 person team come out.

I wouldn't go outside on the 41 st floor no matter how much I was paid. You need to check if they have their own insurance.
