We travelled around Bali a few years ago ( but didn't go to Nusa Dua) ..however I do believe that is just a resort area with nice big hotels. You will not see the real Bali, just a 5 star resort area; if that is when you want then fine .. but I think there is much more to see .. you can stay in two or three different places; its a pretty small place and easy to travel around.
