I have a 5 month old daughter. We speak English at home and I would like her to learn mandarin. I have heard of a mandarin nusery/playgroup in Wanchai behind Times Square for 1 yr olds. If you know the place, please let me know. Thank you.

Don't know this specific one but Woodland also has bilingual classes.
BTW there's no huge hurry. You can start at 4 years and your child can still become fluent as long as she keeps being exposed through childhood. Conversely, if you start now and stop at 5 your child will lose the language.

Yeah, no hurry. What I have read is that at the age of 2, kids start to lose sounds that are not used in the languages that they hear regularly, and that it takes about 20 hours of exposure per week per language for fluency.
