Hi, does anyone know of a touch rugby club in HK which does pick up games. I need one which is beginner-friendly and has members who encourage new entrants...I am female so I guess I would need a women's team.
I went last season for a session with a very famous club (no names mentioned), but they were clearly more keen on the competition aspect which is uderstandable. But I felt they didn't really welcome beginners as I was left on the sidelines and ended up going home without having got to try. I felt too intimidated to join in. I have no idea how to play but I am sporty and know will learn fast.

There used to be pick-up sessions on a friday night down at the valley rugby pitch - not sure if they still go on but imagine they do. You could just go for a run around the valley around 6:30-7:30 and if they are there (think it started sometime around then) just stop and ask them if you can join in. It's people from all different clubs and is just casual. While some of the players are really good, they are also really great helping out the newbies.
