Has anyone encounter such a problem? If yes, do you know the reason why it happen? Is it a bug or infected by virus or being hacked?


I've got plenty of solutions on how to stop it from popping up bt I wanna know how or why it happen. Tks in advance for any reply/advise/opinion.

Most likely not a virus or hack attempt. These things can "just happen" due to bugs. Have you installed any new software recently or run a big Windows update?

Actually that problem happened on my colleague's PC just recently and so far only on WinXP machines(2 of them). Am trying to confirmed if its just "bug" only cause if its a virus then I need to find a way to stop it from spreading all over the network. Will try the Windows Update and see if it will fix that problem.

Well, I suppose it could be a virus but it seems a bit unusual in that case.

AV did not find anything. The weird thing is, it only happen once. Waiting to see if it will happen again.
