What to buy a netbook for my gf.

It must be small and light as she need to carry with her daily.

I am thinking of Samsung NC-10, however it is not a new model. Would like to get her something fresh and new. Any idea?

Thanks.

How about EeePC T91?

It has a touch screen and only around 0.96kg.

Sure most girls would like.

Depend whether you want the data, if so, the new Vodafone netbook look pretty cool to me.

Any netbook is fine, just don't try the Sony one. I have got a Sony VAIO P25G, after using it for 2 months, there seems to be something wrong with the sensor of the mouse and I need to take the netbook to their customer center to repair.

The retail price of Vodafone netbook is $3,480, quite resonable. I think choosing netbook running Windows XP is much more better than Vista.

NC-10 is quite good, but it weight around 1.9kg, will it be too heavy if your gf carry it daily?

Thanks all.

I also noticed that Vodafone has a netbook coming. Tech magazines said it will launch on early Aug. Maybe will see if my gf like it or not.

Instead of creating her a suprise, think I would now better bring her together so that she can choose the one she really like.

I copied the spec from another forum, anyway, the offer is not out yet. I am still waiting but should be under 4K in order to keep people interested.

If you want a netbook at the same time with mobile broadband, the Vodafone one seems to be a good choice, I think.
